Review by hotel critic
My recent stay at Fundy Line was a mixed bag, with some interesting culinary highlights amidst a few hiccups. The charm of the on-site restaurant caught my eye, featuring an extensive menu that veered towards culinary innovation. I even enjoyed a warm piece of homemade pie, a delightful treat that lifted my spirits after a long day of hiking in the scenic areas nearby. While I experienced some inconveniences — a lack of amenities like a microwave and less-than-ideal room conditions — the morning offerings included free coffee in the lobby. The atmosphere was refreshing, capturing the essence of the region, though I opted to dine elsewhere for breakfast, seeking something more substantial. For an added unique touch, the nearby Black Horse Tavern offered intimate jam sessions that added to the local flavor. While the experience was not without challenges, the restaurant’s culinary flair and local ambiance made my stay memorable. Adventure seekers and food enthusiasts alike may find it worth a visit.
